Active Aging

Safe, individualized fitness that supports strength, balance, and independence.

Casper Care Management’s Active Aging program helps older adults maintain physical function, build confidence, and stay active through personalized exercise and functional fitness support.

Every program begins with a comprehensive Senior Fitness Assessment. This allows us to evaluate functional strength, balance, flexibility, endurance, mobility, and fall risk. The assessment creates a baseline so we can develop a personalized exercise plan and monitor progress over time.

Whether the goal is preventing falls, maintaining independence, recovering after illness or hospitalization, or simply staying active, each program is tailored to the client’s abilities, medical conditions, and personal goals.

Senior Fitness Assessment

A thoughtful starting point for safer movement and measurable progress.

Before creating an exercise plan, we assess the areas that matter most for daily function, fall prevention, and independent living.

Functional Strength

We look at strength needed for everyday movements like standing from a chair, climbing stairs, and carrying household items.

Balance & Fall Risk

We evaluate balance, stability, and fall risk so exercises can safely support confidence and reduce the chance of injury.

Mobility

We assess movement patterns, walking ability, flexibility, and range of motion to support safer daily activity.

Endurance

We consider stamina and activity tolerance so each plan can support energy, independence, and daily participation.

Personal Goals

Programs are shaped around what matters most to the client, from walking safely to staying active in meaningful routines.

Progress Tracking

The assessment provides a baseline so progress can be monitored and exercises can be adjusted appropriately over time.

Functional Fitness

Exercise designed around real-life movement.

Our functional fitness approach focuses on improving the movements needed for everyday life, such as standing from a chair, climbing stairs, reaching overhead, carrying groceries, and walking safely and confidently.

Sessions may include strength training, balance exercises, flexibility work, gait training, endurance activities, and functional movement patterns that support independent living.

As strength and confidence improve, exercises are progressed appropriately so clients can continue building capacity while staying safe and supported.

Personalized Support

Each program is adapted to the person, not a generic routine.

Active Aging sessions are tailored to each client’s abilities, health history, medical conditions, comfort level, and goals. For some clients, the focus may be fall prevention and balance. For others, it may be rebuilding strength after hospitalization, improving endurance, or staying active with more confidence.

The goal is not intense exercise for its own sake. The goal is safer movement, better function, greater independence, and a higher quality of life.

Common Goals

Active Aging can support a wide range of needs.

Programs are built around practical outcomes that help clients remain safer, stronger, and more confident in daily life.
