Pet Therapy
Comfort, companionship, and connection through animal-assisted support.
Pet Therapy brings warmth, joy, and emotional support to seniors through safe, supervised visits with gentle companion animals.
At Casper Care Management, Pet Therapy is one more way we support the whole person. For many older adults, time with a calm, affectionate animal can ease loneliness, reduce stress, encourage conversation, and create moments of happiness that brighten the day.
Whether it is the quiet comfort of a dog resting nearby or the playful spark of a friendly visit, pet therapy offers a meaningful form of connection that can support emotional well-being and quality of life.

Meet the Therapy Dogs
Gentle companions with a special way of putting people at ease.
Casper Care Management’s pet therapy program features calm, friendly dogs who bring comfort and joy to the seniors we serve. Their visits can help clients feel more relaxed, more connected, and more at home.
MJ is a six-year-old American Yellow Labrador Retriever who now calls sunny South Florida home. Originally from Rhode Island, she completed obedience training and earned a championship title for her breed at just fourteen months old. After raising three litters of beautiful puppies, MJ retired in September 2024 and now brings comfort and companionship to seniors through pet therapy.
Known for her calming presence and silky soft fur, MJ instantly puts people at ease. She loves carrying her toys, going on daily training runs with her human, and soaking up all the pets and treats she can get. Wherever she goes, MJ has a special way of lifting spirits and making meaningful connections.
Our Approach
Safe, thoughtful visits based on each client’s comfort level.
Pet Therapy is never one-size-fits-all. We consider each client’s preferences, history with animals, comfort level, living environment, and care goals before incorporating pet therapy into a support plan.
For some clients, a short visit may provide a calming break in the day. For others, regular visits may become a meaningful part of their routine. The focus is always on creating a positive, safe, and supportive experience.

A Calming Presence
Sometimes comfort starts with a quiet companion.
For many seniors, animals offer a kind of comfort that feels familiar and unconditional. A visit from a therapy dog can help soften difficult days, encourage connection, and create simple moments of peace.
Pet Therapy is especially meaningful when paired with care management, recreational therapy, transition support, or home care planning. It adds warmth to the care experience while helping clients feel seen, supported, and valued.
